Construction of the Elwood Dam Rehabilitation project began in fall 2023.  The project will address seepage issues at Elwood Dam, located in north central Gosper County, Nebraska, which are currently limiting storage levels. Construction of the Leavitt Reservoir Expansion project near Shell, Wyoming, is underway.  Once completed, the project will include a new 80-foot-high, one-mile-long, zoned earthen embankment with a 90-foot-tall multilevel intake tower, water conveyance infrastructure, constructed wetlands, and recreation facilities.  Early construction activities have included aggregate production, construction of cofferdam and stream diversion facilities, and foundation
