Cerro Reservoir, located in Montrose County, Colorado, is in the final stages of construction to rehabilitate outlet works that had been inoperable for more than 20 years. RJH responsibilities have included overseeing a diving inspection, outlet works design, alternatives development, and construction administration and resident engineering services. The rehabilitation involved breaching and replacing one of the structure’s three high-hazard dams, installing a new outlet works, and addressing uncontrolled seepage at two of the dams.
