In April, RJH representatives joined over 800 dam and levee professionals at the 2024 US Society on Dams (USSD) Annual Conference & Exhibition in Seattle, Washington. This event provides an excellent opportunity for networking and reconnecting with industry peers.
Some of our representatives attended USSD Committee Meetings, such as the Hydraulics and Hydrology Committee Meeting, to learn about a variety of completed and upcoming projects.
Notable projects and advancements discussed at the conference included a flip-bucket spillway design case study, physical and numerical modeling of a morning glory spillway design, and developments in risk-informed decision-making.
