Mr. Huzjak specializes in dam, reservoir, and water supply engineering, geotechnical engineering, and project management. With more than 26 years of experience, he has participated in more than 600 civil, geotechnical, and water resources projects in a variety of geologic environments in the west and mid-western United States. He has successfully led small to large multi-disciplined dam and water supply projects and heavy civil planning, permitting, design, and construction projects with professional services budgets as large as $7 million.  

Projects include embankment, concrete, and tailings dams; raw water supply systems; gravel pits; slurry walls; riverfront facilities; landfills; deep excavations; tied-back walls; geotextile and geogrid reinforced walls and steep slopes; residential, commercial, and industrial developments; landslide evaluation and stabilization; pavements, roads, and bridges; bored and driven-pile foundations; construction and permanent dewatering; and waste impoundments. Mr. Huzjak had a leadership role in the permitting, planning, design, rehabilitation, and construction of water resources projects and dams with construction costs from less than $0.05 million to over $800 million.
